With the rapid growth of the food and wine industry and the ever-mounting publicity of our region, visitor expectation of a food and wine experience is increasing. Here at lolli Redini restaurant we aim to provide visitors and locals alike, a truly unique dining option.
The restaurant, owned and operated by Simonn Hawke  is in its seventh year of operation and has now established a reputation for being a popular dining destination having achieved six consecutive chefs hats in the Sydney Morning Heralds Good Food Guide Awards…and chef Simonn is one of only a handful of females in NSW to head a restaurant with a coveted chefs hat.The Restaurant is located next door to Hawkes general store...a wonderful homewares shop which has been in the Hawke family for 30 years and now run by Simonns sister Coco..check out www.hawkesgeneralstore.com.au

The food is Modern Italian with an emphasis on the use of local produce wherever possible.The  menu is formulated in accordance with the availability of ingredients and changes each week. We do however retain the signature dishes that have earnt us our reputation .Simonn is behind the stoves each service and enforces consistant standards of service and food quality.

Her Partner and co-manager Leah is behind the scenes and manages the wine list and reservations and ensures our staff take care of our guests in the most personable & professional manner. The stong relationship that we have developed with local growers is important and we like to take care in ensuring our local small producers get the exposure & the support they deserve. Anna De Baar supplies superb fresh herbs and vegetables from her small organic garden.We also draw on specialty small goods and providore lines from Sydney.Our seafood is fresh daily from Sydney Fish markets and our meat and poultry is sourced from the regions best producers and supplemented by Vics Premium Meats in Sydney. We also supply the very non commercial Moonlight Bay Oysters (during winter months) which are grown in site specific locations on the south coasts Clyde river. www.moonlightflatoysters.com.au

 

All of our food is made on the premises including our organic sour-dough, pastas, pastries, desserts and ice creams. The ever important coffee is Vittoria Cinque Stella and we pride ourselves on being able to satisfy the most discerning coffee drinkers. For a day time coffee go to Hawkes General Store right next door..open Monday-Saturday 930 am.

The wine list is our passion & reflects the importance of having wine that is compatible with our style of food so we have carefully selected a small range of standout local wines and some interesting wines from other regions to satisfy the demand for variety and quality.Our focus is on single vineyard production and we support biodynamic/organic practices where possible.  For more information on local wines see www.winesoforange.com.au
